About UTSA:

UTSA is one of the fastest growing universities in the state, with about 30,000 students enrolled. There are currently over 100 degree programs offered and more are being added each semester. Due to the new facilities, buildings, and degree programs being developed, acceptance to the university is relatively easy compared to most large universities. The university itself is located on the northwest side of San Antonio, next to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, La Cantera Resort and Mall, and other new additions and attractions, which are continually developing around the area in which UTSA is located. Aside from the new classroom and research buildings being built, UTSA is also finishing up an expansion to the Recreation center which will include a new weight room, cardio room, climbing wall, message therapy center, an outdoor aquatics center with a lap pool, lazy river, 2 hot spas, & 2 cool spas, & many outdoor courts & fields for other sports.
