Q: What is the rated weight on the hooks for squats and bench? What is the weight the safety catches will support, for deadlifts, rack pulls, and of course dropped weight? A: The rack & its componets are allstatic tested over 1000 lbs. Additionally, we usually test all our models in our own team training before we release the model to the public. What this means is that the racks are just static tested but they're also tested in action as well. We regularly load our racks up with 600 to 800 lbs and they've held up fine, so I don't have any doubt that they can hold up under a dynamic load of over 1000 lbs as well. Actually, the videos on our site are from our older racks which our made of even lighter materials (2" x 2" 11 gauge uprights & lighter J-hooks), & they've held up fine as well. Q: What are the inside diminsions of the rack from front-to-back & side-to-side? A: The inside diminsions of the rack are 24" (front-to-back). The side-to-side diminsions are 43" (inside) & 48" (outside). Q: What is the weight rating on your flat bench? How tall is the flat bench? Is it 11 gauge tubing? A: We've loaded up our benches for bench & bench variations with up to 800 lbs with no problem. The benches are 17" tall to the top of the pad, 12" wide & 48" long. They are made out of 2x2 11 gauge square tubing. Q: Can you tell me how much ceiling clearance you need above the top of the power rack? A: The one shown in the video required about 12 inches of clearance, but we can change the design to get it under 6 inches, maybe even 4 if ceiling clearance is an issue. Q: Are the racks not painted at all or just painted with a clear coat? A: The finish on the racks is an airbrushed industrial epoxy paint. |
